How your support makes a difference.

Your support helps create brighter futures for autistic individuals. Autism affects 1 in 70 Australians, impacting over a million people, including families, friends, and colleagues.

By supporting Autism Queensland, you help provide early intervention programs for young children, tailored services for school-aged children and adults, and resources for families, carers, and professionals. These services support learning, employment, independent living, and social inclusion. Your generosity empowers autistic individuals to live with greater independence, opportunity, and inclusion.

Ryan's Story

Three years ago, Ryan was struggling. Overwhelmed by school, he faced daily challenges that left him isolated. Loud noises, rigid routines, and sensory overload made it impossible for him to cope. By Year 2, he had stopped attending altogether, and his mum, Bree, left her job to support him at home.

Then they found Autism Queensland. At AQ School, Ryan entered a world designed for him—small classes, understanding teachers, and the support he needed to thrive. He made friends, discovered a love for animals, and even started dreaming about university.

“I don’t know where we’d be without AQ,” says Bree. “Ryan’s whole world has changed. Now, he belongs.”
