At Autism Queensland, our son has been met with understanding, compassion, and an unwavering belief in his potential. He has never been asked to change who he is to fit the world. Instead, he is gently supported to grow into himself: fully, confidently, and joyfully. His differences are not viewed as limitations, but as gifts to be celebrated.
This is the heart of the Show Your True Colours campaign; a call to create a world where neurodiversity is embraced, and no child feels they must hide who they are to be accepted.
